I didn't go to Moot 2. In the end it was simply too much money to justify it and anyway, Shiva told me not to. I was still teetering on the brink of this decision when, at 5:30 yesterday, a company from the other side of the large, multi-office building I work in called up out of the blue to say they had a problem with their web site and would we be able to help. My boss said that we could give it a look and do something as a favour if it was quick. I was able to help but the flash application which was bothering them ( it was a really bad job- some Daily WTF quality code in there) needed serious fixing. In the end I didn't leave the office until half ten. It left me tired and having lost any chance of getting to the moot at all, but ( work did it as a favour, but Ben did it as £40 p/h consultancy ) I was a couple of hundred quid better off, so I could have afforded it pretty easily if I hadn't been shut away earning the money all evening. That kind of did my head in somewhat.
I have heard rumours from the Moot that Rath and Cornelius have both fallen victim to the Conclave. That would be pretty mad- I can't imagine an Edreja without Rath in it...
