glenatron: (Emo Zorro)
[personal profile] glenatron
This morning when [livejournal.com profile] sleepsy_mouse was taking him out to the field, Zorro managed to bite her, catching her whole shoulder between his teeth. As usual when he does this he was mostly being a bit playful so he didn't really bite hard, but it was enough to be quite a shock for her and left her aching for the rest of the day.

In the evening he was in an even more cantankerous mood, so after a proper tantrum coming out of the field I took him straight down to the school and we did some very high-energy work. A couple of times his response to fairly normal requests on my part included standing up absolutely vertical in a full-on and well balanced fashion. It seemed that he mostly wanted to shift a bit of energy and to understand that things are still the same between us- he keeps listening to me and doesn't try to kill me, try to grab the rope out of my hand or flatten me and I don't make life too hectic and we can run and move and generally shift some of the life in our feet. It was tempestuous and challenging but eventually pretty good fun and by the end he was just tuned in really well to everything I was asking for. We'll see what kind of mood he's in tomorrow.

What a jerk! I think he and Ozzy are no longer allowed to exchange emails.

Woo, he has an issue or two there. Is that normal Zorro behavior?

Yeah, it's about the time of the season when they start waking up from winter. Mind you, Zorro's a bit over the top, though...but it sounds like he just needed some blowout time.

He's the most aggressive and dominant horse I've ever met, so that is kind of typical Zorro behaviour.

I think we'll have to find different naughty corners to put them in, where they can't pass messages.

Zorro lives over the top, it's his spiritual home...

Tempestuous! Another great word. A tempestuous triumvirate, hahah.

Bad Zorro for biting poor [livejournal.com profile] sleepsy_mouse (I hope she feels better asap); but his cantankerous moods do make me laugh. He's a Ringwraith horse.

He belongs to the slightly petulant Nazgul.

Hey, dude, thanks again for Dar Williams. "February" is pretty, but "Iowa" is just breath-taking.

ETA: Even when I'm not suffering from a respiratory disease!

She basically hardly misses anywhere on the first three albums. The fourth is disappointing in context but has some great songs, after that I find little wonder in her output, sadly...
