Big good black horse
4 May 2009 23:21Zorro was being really good today- we did a bunch of work on straightness and developing more forwardness in a straight line. He's really getting the hang of this and he actually quite likes rampaging up and down once we get around the idea that he just wants to drift from side to side of the school.
He was actually in a cheerful and friendly mood today, which is an infrequent but very enjoyable experience and I loved riding him. We used the western bridle again too, which may have helped.
After we had given them tea we put them back out in the field and as I was walking home I headed out across the top of the field to join the path. After a moment it turned out the ponies needed to catch up so I jogged along with them for a moment and tried to get some pictures of Zorro playing catch up. Turns out, my camera was set to "video"...

Yesterday in the bottom of the valley a little ferny corner that I have been thinking would photograph well was just catching a sunbeam, a lovely moment.

Zorro is emo horse!
