What I do like...

We watched The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe on Saturday night. Two points:

• Considering that he was riding as a unicorn with neither bit nor bridle (which is, of course, how one is supposed to ride a unicorn) it seemed to both of us that Peter ought to keep off it's goddamn mouth! Laziest paintshopping-out of a bridle ever.


• As an agnostic who has recently watched The Golden Compass I couldn't help but feel they could have watered down the religious alegory somewhat. It could be offensive to some.

You must get the Pullman books, they are absolutely brilliant.
