So if you were trying to make up a totally random lie you might invoke exotic locations and inexplicably random relationships between wildlife to create a result like "in Madagascar there is a species of moth that feeds on the tears of birds while they sleep."

And yet, it is true. Either that or I'm having a really crazy dream.

They don't eat your eyes, they just slip their barbed proboscii beneath your eyelids while you sleep and drink the sweet sweet tears beneath...
