So not only have Neverland, one of the greatest bands ever to self-release an album nearly get signed split up and vanish without trace, got back together, they are also apparently recording some new material and even now have a MySpace page. They were one of the bands I really loved when I was at uni - they were the music playing in my head when I was bodyboarding, something I did a lot for a few years - and listening to them now, they still sound amazing.
If you like stuff like New Model Army or the Levellers or the idea of a band who can call their songs things like "Doom Garden Jellyfish Blues" and use a mandolin (without either making them into an annoying comedy fiasco) they are probably for you.
For goodness sake, they even have "Rain Like Stars and The Blues" up on their site. Few things are more awesome.
In other news, seeing the Ernald Wanderers at the weekend was good, losing our Honoured Guest later in the week is bad as it's been very enjoyable having an in-house Canadian.
We are on the point of signing our management contract and had a meeting with one of our managers today. Interesting times ahead.
