What is up with this week?

Monday: Album comes out, lots of people seem to like it.
Tuesday: Find out I'm about to be made redundant.
Wednesday: Gain another two grades in ninjutsu. I am now first kyu, the highest of the beginner grades. The next grade is black belt. Totally unexpected and I feel like I'm now graded way above my ability, but my teachers know what they are doing and they wouldn't have done it if I wasn't up to standard (as the two and a half years I was sixth kyu illustrate) so I guess they are right.

I really can't work out whether everything this week is brilliant and yesterday was a blessing in disguise or I'm having alternate good and bad days. If it is the latter I'm now very worried about tomorrow but quite hopeful about Friday, when we have a gig in Reading and our song is being played on Radio 2.

I think I will be careful tomorrow, just in case.

Any mainstream stockist is good with us- Amazon's Marketplace is a bit weak from our point of view cos that is likely to be people flogging review copies or sellers who aren't chart-registered so we either make no money from them or they don't affect our sales figures, which has a direct knock-on for the shows we are likely to be offered.
