glenatronA grey evening, heavy with approaching rain. Hundreds of rooks in a raucous crowd swirled around the tree tops like a bad omen. I still rode my mare though, and she was - as ever - very good, just a little better than yesterday. Most days I only ride for half an hour or so, just enough to get moving, find some good moments and then let up before she gets bored, which seems to be working well.
It was getting dark by the time I left for home, though. The first day this year that has felt shorter than the day before.
As far as I can judge, today is our monthiversary! Iris has been here for a month, almost exactly. If we keep improving at this rate, we're going to be doing some interesting things by this time next year :)
