New Adventures
12 April 2011 11:32There is loads of stuff to post about at the moment, but time is short so a couple of significant points:
A week today I go to Australia. My first visit to the southern hemisphere at all. I won't be touristing it up so much there- the goal is to spend a couple of weeks riding with Steve at Silversands. I'm really looking forward to it, aside from the parts where venomous snakes, scorpions, spiders and emus are fighting one another for the right to bite me first. I don't know how many venomous emus there actually are, I just hope they are less common that drop bears. Much like my Texan adventures I shall endeavour to post about my daily adventures.
Yesterday I agreed to buy Cash. It's a bad time to be buying a horse, but the little guy was looking very likely to go in a bad direction if I didn't and for the horse he is I got an extraordinarily good deal on him. He'll be staying where he is until I come back from Australia and then coming to stay with us. Hopefully we'll be able to put some miles on with him and find a really nice home for the little guy. He deserves to have good things.
Oh, and
buymeaclue? I think you might have been right...
