We were supposed to be off for a few relaxing days in France first thing tomorrow, with sleepsy_mouse's parents. Unfortunately the ferry we were going to take has broken down and none of the alternatives are really viable so it's time to invent a holiday with no money but three days leave. We were supposed to be joining them in the early Summer but Small's illness put paid to that, so with this it does start to seem as though the whole holiday is just not meant.

Gah. That's not funny. :( Mind you, three days leave is always cool, in my book. Cross your fingers for some suitable weather for playing with ponies. Is Small doing little hacks out yet?

We're hoping tomorrow will be nice. Today was mostly rainy but I got time to sit on the cob in the evening. We're thinking we may even visit London Village on Friday as there are apparently things we can do there to be touristy.

As we're in France currently I bought a croissant in Waitrose this afternoon.
