Today's victory

Today I put on a shirt with my arm through the sleeve and everything. Awesome!

Then we went and visited ponies. It has been hard not seeing cob since last week and it was really good to see the big guy and give him lots of scratchies, which he appreciated.

I also talked to Small while he had his box tidied up ( he's half way through box rest already ) and he was supercute, very friendly and groomy. He kept whiffling his top lip on my top lip and it wasn't until sleepsy_mouse pointed it out that I realised he was mystified by me having whiskers too. Just so cute.

It seems I can now travel in a car without every bump causing intense pain, which opens a lot of doors in terms of being able to go places and do things. I'm feeling more myself too, I think dropping the co-codamol for straight paracetamol helps with that too- the codeine doesn't seem to strongly affect the pain relief ( which I certainly still need ) but it really wipes me out.

Now, with clingfilm taped over my dressing, time to see if I can endure a shower...

Nearly walked as far as the ponies today. Certainly feeling better for it.
