Today's crisis
23 June 2010 00:35Today I watched the last episodes of the first season of Battlestar Galactica, which I have not seen at all previously and I'm enjoying very much.
But then: Disaster! When we moved we lost the remote for our DVD player and so it only has "stop" and "play" on the actual player. Fine for a novie or the horsemanship stuff we usually watch, but Series Two has some lame-ass director's commentary that is on by default and without any way to navigate menus it cannot be switched off! Dismay!
On the upside I finished Twilight Princess and Hyrule is safe, but that also means no more Zelda! I guess I could go back to my last save and seek out those other bugs though.
In more wholly positive news, yesterday I straightened my arm.

Date: 23 Jun 2010 02:31 (UTC)The whole remote problem is why we have three (for one box); because we've lost it, and Murphy's Law dictates that the lost object will not be found until it is replaced. Not three all together. Ten all together. Although, I admit, one is a box of playing cards that is printed to look like a remote.

But I concur Hyrule is safe.
