It seems as though sometimes I create the impression that rides on the common near us are all bluebells, wide sandy trails and golden sunlight filtered through oak leaves. So to clarify that, a bit of video from today's ride:

As you will notice, some of those are birch leaves.

They're pretty awesome except when they are landing or they are just overhead and suddenly ignite their burners. That can be a bit jumpy. The rest of the time the ponies are pretty used to them as most warm evenings there are a few floating over.
