There is evidence that we may have found a new home for our big blue bus, which we have been looking to do for a while now, this is good news- especially for my credit card company. Or for me, I guess, as they're the ones profiting from charging me interest.
Now the people who came over to look at it are Janet and Trev, friends of ours from clinics over the last few years and as they live in a clay soil area and everything around them is deep mud at the moment they thought if they were heading this way they might as well bring their ponies over and go for a bit of an explore on our relatively dry and free-draining sandy paths. The ponies in question being Fin, a little grey Connemara, and Brian, a tall and lovable fresian. They also brought along their dogs, a truly charming rottie and a beautiful but manic Northern Inuit who looks amazing and has an attention span that rarely stretches as far as seconds. The boys had been dentisted in the morning and we were reluctant to take them out so we came along on foot and I got a few pictures...

If Janet sees something jumpable, she'll probably jump it.

Brian leaves plenty of space in case the logs leap up at him...

Brian: SPLASHING! I LOVE SPLASHING!!!
Fin: Dude, WTF?

Setting off for a big old canter along the firebreak. I love how hard Brian appears to be concentrating here. He's also totally eclipsing Fin who was just the other side of him.

Those dogs are packing a whole lot of happy right there.

There goes Team Fin.

Charging off up the hill. Then they charged back to meet us. There was clearly a lot of charging about that these guys needed to catch up on...
When they got back we stowed the ponies in the barn and went off to look at the lorry and go for a little drive. Hilarity ensued as everyone else from the yard turned up to put their horses away and either didn't notice at all that the big tall black horse and small grey pony weren't Zorro and Small or said hello to them then did a massive double-take. Brian charmed everyone by being a very friendly and snuggly kind of a fresian who mostly likes to be friends with people.
