Holiday time!

Lou and I have effectively missed out on having a holiday this year because between the band and my being skint there really hasn't been much of an opportunity so this week is as much as we're getting. Tomorrow we set off for far off Grinstead (exotic, I know) where we're spending a week camping and learning how to be excellent with horses from Steve Halfpenny. The last clinic we went to was the one that left me totally inspired and pretty much raving about the whole thing. This time Lou and Joe are in the hotseat and Othello and I get to watch them in action ( there wouldn't be much point in us doing any more cos goodness knows we have a while to go before we've really finished learning about the stuff we did at the last one ) and try to learn as much as I can from watching while they learn by doing. It's a pretty good system. We stand a chance between us of picking up and remembering about 10% of what is going on.

This also means that we have a week camping in a muddy field beside a bunch of horses. That will be the venue for our second anniversary tomorrow, too. Romantic.
