Come in employee 2, your time is up.

Today is my last day at work. It's very weird- I was the first employee they took on here and I've had a major hand in guiding the company over the last five years. I've effectively trained up two other developers, written some super-sweet web systems, learned a huge amount and generally had a pretty good time.

I've got a bunch of proposals out for freelance work so hopefully someone will want to get back to me on some of those pretty soon and offer to give me money for code. The way my skills are going at the moment, they will be getting a bargain.

Tomorrow night is the end of company piss-up. That should be pretty cool as well, in a slighly melancholy way.
