According to some back-of-envelope calculations today is my +/-250th Friday at Newview and it's the last one. That's a hell of a lot of Fridays. The end of an Era.

This morning it was so cold that Joe Pony had frost on the tips of his ears and Othello had frost on his beard. Exceptionally cute. Exceptionally cold too- good luck to anyone going to the Jackals event. I wish I was going with you.

If you haven't received your copy of the Sequoia album and you ordered it a while ago get in touch with your supplier and ask them to hurry up- point out that it has been in the shops for nearly three weeks now and that you've spoken to the label who say there is no reason for any delay with the order. Let me know when you have done this or if you have done this already and I'll make sure we get onto the distribution company at our end.

We played a gig this evening at the Lamb, a pub whose total floor space was smaller than some stages we have played on. It was two 45 minute sets with a short break in the middle and there were a lot of people in, which was really cool, but not much space to move, which wasn't.

The awesome thing, however, was that after setting up and soundchecking Lou and I went up to the chippy in central Farnham to get ourselves some tea and, when our food was served, the bloke behind the counter asked "aren't you the bass player from Sequoia?"

Tomorrow, the world...
