Partially home
31 August 2009 23:02So we're back from the clinic, which was seriously amazing; who could imagine that a horse could be that light?
Zorro was truly astounding in what he had to offer, which of course means that now we have so much more to work on and explore from here but the amount of softness and heart that he had to offer, well, I doubt most riders will ever experience that from their horse. Right now it seems like we've got a reasonably solid foundation there.
allezbleu repaid our favour in driving her mare around a hundred times over in getting us there, the horsebox repair guys are of the opinion that we should get our lorry back this week so we've left Zorro there for now and we'll probably pick the epic cob up next weekend, which may give us the opportunity to drop in at a small show on the way home and pretend we know what dressidge is. Or may not, depending on time and opportunity.
As always after an amazing weekend that you've been building up to for months, reality drag is starting to set in already, I'm sure it will be pretty bad this time round.
