One hell of a greeting
29 July 2009 00:06Today I was bringing Zorro in to work at the same time as Small was coming in. Zorro was down in the furthest corner. I wandered over to catch him while
sleepsy_mouse and Small approached the gate at the top. He suddenly realised what was going on and absolutely flew up the hill in flat out gallop, mane and tail flying. I expected him to rampage off past me and pester Small but instead he stopped right by me, arched his neck proudly, snorted and nudged at his halter.
He then came in the rest of the way in his most spectacular trot, arched and collected, pausing for an epic rear half way to the barn.
Quite a pony.

Date: 29 Jul 2009 10:19 (UTC)It seems that the last few months he has started to enjoy having me around rather than just putting up with me. It's a pretty positive change as far as I'm concerned.
