Misty moisty morning

One reason I'm on a bit of a photo-frenzy at the moment is that I'm trying to get out in the world a bit during the few days of the year when Spring is actually springing. Normally I allow this part of the year to slip by and suddenly find myself looking back at it and thinking "oh, that went fast!" This year I'm out and walking and taking pictures, particularly as it has been the kind of bank holiday weekend where the weather has not been in favour of extensive rides around the locale. I'll get bored of the pictures thing soon, no doubt.


Plants aren't really my thing, but I think this is a Wood Anemone.

Turns out the pony was Mr Manes, the same little guy who I've seen the last two days. Here he was watching a jogger approach. Once they were past he went back to munching.

Wood anemone: yes. A very wet one. :-) And I really liked the first pines-in-mist one.

A very wet everything this weekend. We have a four day weekend for easter and by long British tradition it has rained pretty much the whole time.
