glenatronThis week so far has been awesome - a weekend of monstrous fun, on monday I peer-reviewed an article for the Java Developers Journal, on Wednesday I levelled up as a ninja and this evening I got the new Mark Chadbourn book through the post and the first acknowledgement is "Ben Moxon for his erudite advice on horses and how they cope with the cold." It's like the world had been saving all the cool things that could happen and released them all at once.
I expect something terrible is about to happen to balance it all out...
On Tuesday it cost me £40 to fill the car with petrol. It reminded me what a luxury we have as far as cheap fuel is concerned - we may have a few years left too, so lets enjoy them.

Date: 22 Apr 2005 03:59 (UTC)me too, but on smaller scale - i have been getting more work in, may have a part time job in the really cool jazz-loving coffee shop and things are beginning to happen that could mean me running PhotoShop workshops at the Institute (still tentative though)
