Today we had to meet up with a client to discuss a new site we are developing for them. I don't mind having to get up at half six in the morning and go to Nottingham in the name of work, but it is a bit annoying when you have the meeting and realize there isn't anything you couldn't have said over the phone.
Still, at Tom's instruction I switched on Radio 4 in the car on the way there to hear Claire Bott on Women's Hour. We knew Claire quite well at one time and she shared a house with Stu Crump, something which still makes Stu ( one of the most generous and gentle people you will ever meet ) completley flip out to the point of incoherent rage, with hilarious consequences. I think my boss, who was driving, was quite surprised by my reaction.
If anyone reading is in Reading ( pronounce those two differently ) then I expect you'll want to make your way to Colorz on Thursday night to catch the mighty Sequoia live. The same applies to people living in Guildford on Sunday who will want undoubtedly want to get to Chancellors bar for the same reason (although it is an acoustic show) and to anyone living in the Southern Counties or who has an internet connection on Sunday 20th when we shall be playing our first full band BBC Radio session. More interesting news relating to record labels, singles and albums to follow shortly...
