Among my birthday presents was a copy of World of Warcraft which is a good thing because I love the Warcraft games and I really like the look and fun factor of pretty much everything Blizzard have ever produced but potentially a bad thing because I am not entirely sure that I can survive a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG without giving up entirely on every other aspect of my life. I have loads of things to do the whole time anyway and I don't want to turn into a hermit like a lot of people seemed to do when they layed hands on Everquest or Dark Age of Camelot.

Never haven partaken of this particular drug myself I can't really judge whether it will be an enjoyable occasional night in or an obsession-inducing Better Than Life type experience.

So the question is: Should I open that shrinkwrap and run that installer?

Yes but decide how much time each day you are going to dedicate to it, and then only start playing it that amount of time before you have to do things that you *can't* miss.

Like work.

That *can't* go wrong.

Not a guarantee.
