Rain, mud, house falling to pieces...

The weather continues to be rubbish and our house has started falling apart now as well, the oven appears to have stopped working, the bathroom floor looks a lot like it's going to rot away soon (who puts a cheap carpet in a bathroom anyway?) and although we may have just been offered a rather nice fridge-freezer, the one we have been offered is bigger than any of the doors into the house which means we'll either have to turn it down or to take the doors off to get it in. Either way, it's a big job. As is totally rearranging the kitchen so it fits.

I am, however, very excited about Quesada & Molino, which may actually be as good as shanks01 says it is. We practiced on Monday and recorded a few tracks - they're a bit rough and ready but there is something about them that makes me inordinately pleased that I am part of them. Assuming the others are happy with the standard of the recordings there will probably be a myspace site appearing in the next week or so.

I'm working my way into the Techy department at ULU. Which allows me the opportunity to organise gigs.

So do you guys want to play the University of London Union?

I'm dreaming of some kind of Ramalamadingdongstock at the moment as I seem to know tons of bands. Maybe for a charity or something...

I'm good thanks. Escaping the despair I feel from being stuck behind a bar in a myriad of different ways. Hopefully I'll get a cool job soon, things are picking up so that should BE soon.

Renovations in the kitchen and bathroom are the best ways to increase the value of your home. It's also the most expensive renovation you can do. Good luck!

Those mp3s do sound really good, it has to be said. one thing I found really cool was that I kept expecting them to turn into classic Shanks comedy late night larp songs. They've still got that storytelling quality.
