This morning I went to the dentist and was given my first ever fillings.

This afternoon I managed to get a paper cut off one of the many bits of paper I inexplicably carry around in my wallet.

I'm sure you can imagine which was worse. I have no idea why paper cuts fill me with such intense feelings of revulsion but I absolutely hate them. The thought of that razor of finely sharpened wood pulp drawn across skin just makes me shudder in the way other people do when they think of scrunching on foil or cotton wool.

The fillings were fine, I didn't need any anaesthetic cos my teeth weren't badly broken. I did discover that when the drill did get a little close to the nerve my instinctive reaction was to tap out, as you do when you want your training partner to release the lock they are applying. Good news is: I'm now officially bionic!

Unfortunately, my teeth are more filling then teeth at this point. yay? Wait until they do a root canal. Then they fill your teeth with pretend stuff, but it still looks like tooth on the outside.

He's bionic.
Yeah I checked the definition, and he's still bionic.
I don't care.

(if he's bionic, I am too, see)

You can't see my one and only filling. It's a white one. And I don't think it makes you bionic, just radioactive from the x-ray they usually do on your jaw beforehand.

meh. as our mighty illithid overload has pointed out, you're a cyborg if you have a watch. we're all bionic nowadays, especially those with glasses...

If you're radioactive and you bite someone do they gain special human powers? So if you were radioactive and you bit a man, he might become manman and gain the powers of a man in addition to being a man. I don't know if it works for things other than spiders, but think of the possibilities...
