I've been meaning to get some new music for a while but I really cannot afford it at all at the moment, not until I finish my current project, which is several weeks at the very least. Probably as a result of reading Questionable Content I'm feeling particularly partial to indie-schmindie so it's particularly good news that I appear to have won the new Belle and Sebastian album on 6 Music's daily Paintbox Jury competition. Well, either I have or there's another Ben Moxon out there who has, in which case fair play to my unknown distant relative...

I've recently read the entire lot of Questionable Content. Mostly pretty good, and I do enjoy his general slandering of terrible Emo music.

Bought the Broken Social Scene album recommended on his website; is certainly very good, if, as you say, "indie-schmindie".

Death Cab are really good, I can quite recommend Transatlanticism as an amazing album. I've heard one or two things from the singer's other project, The Postal Service, and they're rather good as well.
