Somewhere between spending hours out in the cold yesterday and again today (though I didn't get nearly as chilled today) I have started sneezing, my nose has starting running at a fearsome rate and I'm generally turning into a miserable manflu victim. This usually happens when I have allowed myself to become totally exhausted, which I don't think has happened at the moment so I guess it's a mixture of cold and no-job related stress. Pretty rubbish all in all, though.

Having had only a couple of days sick in the last few years I lose my job and immediately fall ill. There is no justice.

We're on at The Musician (http://www.themusicianpub.co.uk) - Apparently the doors open at 8:00 and we're on at 9:00 or thereabouts. I'd recommend coming early- I'll let you know when I'm actually in town, probably we'll be done by 7:00 and just sat around waiting for stuff to begin - on account of I'll have to go pretty much directly after we've played cos i'm sharing a lift with Mic and he's got work the next day.

We're sharing a bill with weird 80s throwback hair metaller Adam Bomb (http://www.adambomb.com/home/index.php), which may just prove to be the most mismatched lineup ever.

I had worse colds than I've ever had this year, too. I think I had it full-blown for about two weeks, and it lingered for about a fortnight after. I felt at a loss a bit, as I never really get ill. being very lazy seemed to work. To conclude; colds, rubbish.

i know what you mean though, in crazy freelance land i have often found that you work like a busy worky monkey for weeks, and as soon as you get a few days off, and a lie in, you immediately get a bit ill. fortunately i've barely stopped this year, so haven't got a cold (yet). sneezes. roll on christmas. presumably a turkey roll.
