glenatronYesterday was delightful and featured a beautiful bride, a handsome groom and many old friends in various states of drunkeness from quite all the way through to very. There are some people in that circle that Lou has begun to suspect are never sober as we tend to see one another at weddings or parties and they have usually arrived first.
A downside of Autumn's encroachment is that the charming young folk of our area of Wrecclesham have clearly discovered that fireworks are available to them once more and so every night will be bonfire night on our road until approximately mid-February. Hopefully neither of our cars will be part of the general conflagration, but it is unwise to be too optimistic in that respect.
I have borrowed my Dad's rather smart new camera for some band photography we will be doing tomorrow- this is a picture I took with it today from the farm that is home to a whole lot of tractors and land rovers, hundreds of martins and swallows and assorted horses including Mr Joseph Pony esquire.
In other news, for anyone finding it as frustrating as I did, I have proclaimed the annoying lyric quiz closed and edited in the answers for any questions that no-one got. If you joined in that particular meme, perhaps you want to do the same. It may save someone's sanity, in the long run...
