glenatronThis time last year I was deeply unhappy in a marriage that was falling apart, I was working for Infonic as I had been for the previous few years and was starting to get a little tired of it and I didn't own any horses.
Now I am in a wonderful, loving relationship with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
herecirm who makes me amazingly happy, I'm unemployed but hoping someone will be interested in taking me on for contract work soon ( if they don't I'm screwed, but everyone's HR department were on a go-slow for December so we'll see ) and I have a little yellow pony of my own who is doing everything he can to make himself absolutely indispensable to me.
It was interesting how as my world turned itself inside out, the globe itself appeared to be crashing through similar paroxysms in some bizarre kind of pathetic fallacy. Two thousand and eleven proved itself to be interesting times indeed.
What I would hope for this year, is a chance to consolidate and build on what I have now. A year of change and revolution has been by turns painful, terrifying, exciting and joyous - I think it would be nice to start to build a little stability after all this tumult, so that is my hope for the year. From where I am now I think it has a chance at being the best yet, which is something that every year deserves.
