glenatronThis week has been hard work- trying to get everything together for the artwork on the album and do enough work that everything will be ready by next Thursday. A week today Lou and I are planning to be most of the way to Scotland on an Adventure.
Tomorrow I am in work, upgrading the office network so everyone has newer versions of various bits and bobs and the server is a bit more modern and classy. If everything goes according to plan it could be a pretty short day. I'm sure anyone who has ever done work with servers or with Windows will know what the chances of things going to plan are. The good consequence is I have swapped it for a future day off, the bad news is that this really was the only day we could do and it clashes with the Jackals' parliament. Bit of an arse really.
This week I acquired the Maximo Park album and it's working out rather well. Well written songs, a classic scruffy indie guitar sound and the whole thing full of northern indie quality, it's like the Gedge never went away.
