Thought I took some video of Zorro and I doing a whole bunch of schooling today, but when I looked at the memory card it turned out I had one clip where I was an almost invisible speck, a bunch of 0.1 second clips where it switched on and then off again instantly and one longer clip which constituted almost entirely of Zorro's nostrils. It's possible that I'm not cut out for video.

Date: 13 Dec 2010 21:39 (UTC)In this case, just using a regular digital camera ( not mine, one that can focus ) I think the problem might have been with the camera trigger being a bit oversensitive and switching on and then off again while I tried to start it.
It didn't help that I couldn't see the camera and it was balanced on a tripod on top of a barrel on top of the mounting block and Zorro was keen to knock it all down.
Zorro was not very impressed about carrying a fully open tripod around at first too. He offered some very nice sideways thinking that might be the safest way to get away from it.
