glenatronFinally saw Episode 3 - and it was absolutely hilarious. I especially liked the bit where Palpatine was going "help me! help me! I am so weak!" and doing it in exactly the voice Shanks and Gunn use when they are doing impressions of each other being scared. That made me laugh for a long time. Some serious smell-the-fart acting going on there as well. Good fun to be had by all.
Yesterday I went long distance ninjing in Horsham cos Surrey Uni is closed for the summer now and that is the other place our sensei teaches. It was really good but I did end up training with Ali, one of our senior black belts, and that seems to be a pathway to inevitable pain. At one point, having already dropped me, he was kneeling on my calf with one leg while kicking me in the head with the other. It was good to be in a big enough room to do some staff and sword work too- I'm actually slightly better with weapons than without- who says larp teaches you nothing?
