sleepsy_mouse has an idea of what Zorro's idea is with all this bitey stuff he's doing at the moment, and I think it's probably spot on. Basically he is working to experimentally divide everything in the world into two categories: Things that will fit in Zorro's mouth and things that won't.

Ah, Tucson also is continuously working on this categorization. Also, the little runt Pickpocket... who tried to chomp the Boy during a showmanship-at-halter practice session once.

You'd think it would help when they're only 12.1-and-a-half, and you can almost pick them up and whollop them until they realize the error of their ways. That's why we're awful glad Tucson had a solid start from a good horseman in his baby years, because no matter how much a dick he's being, he never disrespects a person -- he'd be awfully hard to spank now, at his size. But no, ponies you can just overpower and give royal heck. For some reason, though, ponies still keep trying. What's with that???

Sage has a slightly different divide line; things he can eat and things he can't. I'm glad he figured out arms and shoulders are things he can't...wish he hadn't figured that out on this nice lady who'd never pet horses before...
