glenatronWe got up this morning and found 13" of snow in the garden. I don't remember it ever snowing this intensely here. Quite something.
The back garden.
A birch tree against the pinewoods. The snow is hanging on the trees and they're starting to come down, which means a good chance of losing power later on. We can at least use the stove for boiling a kettle or cooking a slow casserole. It may yet come to that.
The view across the punchbowl. If only we had a toboggan here we could probably get the ponies out on that. As it is, we'll be walking. I wish I had gaiters. I suspect that we'll be improvising with bin bags and gaffa tape....
