Pretty quiet huh?
17 September 2011 23:10I have been quiet here for a while- been reading but not updating since that last clinic report, so what's been up?
Well,
herecirm went away and came back. The coming back bit was best.
A friend paid for me to travel up to Scotland and back so I could teach her horse to load, so I did.
I felt increasingly ill for a few weeks- probably from before the clinic really - and it reached a head when I could hardly get out of bed for a week. It looks like I've probably got Mononucleosis ( Glandular Fever ) but the blood tests to confirm that aren't back yet. If I have got it I have at least not got it very badly as yet- I've been weak but not totally enfeebled - so I guess I'm lucky so far in that respect. I'm trying not to push my luck and do too much and just resting when I need to. I was a lot less bad last week and I've been back in work, albeit a little late in the mornings as I literally cannot wake up regardless of what alarms I set and it's probably best if I don't try too hard to.
It turns out I have so many opinions about horsey matters ( and I would like to be findable as someone in this part of the world who does know about these things ) that I have set up a Pragmatic Horsemanship blog in which I can post as much horse related nonsense as I want without upsetting anyone who doesn't want to read it. I can't guarantee I won't upset anyone who does want to read it as I do have opinions, but I like to think they're fairly common-sense, by and large and I'm always open to a persuasive argument.
