Today was the second day of Bass at the studio and my part of the great work is pretty much complete. There will doubtless be parts we decide to change and there will be much mixing and adjusting to be done which I want to be in attendance for as much as possible but my bass duties are done. That's the first time I've recorded anything that will be released on a record label and it's sounding like it could be something very special indeed. That's another thing off my list of things I really want to achieve in life- it was right there next to playing live at a festival.

On Saturday afternoon Sequoia will be playing at the Come Together festival in Henley. It's an acoustic set at around six o clock but it's a festival appearance nonetheless. Good news that. If anyone is posh enough to be in Henley on Saturday it should be quite a good laugh.

Speaking of which, if anyone is in the Farnham area tomorrow night they should go to the Maltings for the Electric Friday gig there. It will feature Logo who I've really enjoyed acoustic but guarantee me they are 100% better as all out rock (Shanks would love them and want to be them or possibly marry them) and Big Wednesday who are reliably fantastic. Even better, we aren't playing and it's near our house so I can get tanked up. Not that I think anyone who reads this actually is ever near Farnham, but it's the thought that counts...

alas, no. but the campsites are quite nice, and there's drumming around the campfire - plus, tofu wraps, not a bad thing...
