We got internet back this afternoon.

After most of the day with one or other of us on the phone to BT.

It seems good until you realise that it only seems good because by this point your expectations have been worn down to almost nothing.

British Telecom may anticipate a strongly worded letter of complaint.

Ahhhh don't you just hate it when complaining feels like pissing in the wind?

Glad you have your internet back though. Perhaps the strongly worded letter will make you feel better at least.

I suspect it will actually be fairly funny. When you explain what has happened in what order, it is quite entertaining.
