The new year began with a hearty band of villians illuminated by the glaring torch of the Hobo of Liberty.

It was a very enjoyable evening in good company, the only downside was not seeing some of our other Swansea friends today, but we did wake up very late on account of playing boardgames until six in the morning and had to skip back to England straight after breakfast. Also I learned that if I wear false eyebrows and a false moustache and my regular glasses it creates the very convincing impression that my nose is false.

2008 has had some pretty tight times, not quite as terrible (for us) as 2007, but still a year with ample room for improvement. 2009 has lots of opportunities to be great, so here's hoping that it follows those up by being a stunningly amazing year for all of us. Happy new year to you all.

Indeed it was. The villains won, although the heroes claimed the moral victory. We did observe that as villains, morals aren't necessarily our thing.

I thought it was a draw - after all the marathon Balderdash was a win for the goodies :)

Ah, but the villains won at Boggle.

Sorry we didn't see you.

Hope you both had and have a Happy New Year.

We'll have to fabricate weak pretexts to meet up some other time soon.

Sounds fun. :) Next time you're headed over that way you and sleepsy_mouse should give me a bell...I'm only half an hour or so off the M4/M5 Almondsbury junction (assuming you go that way). You'd both be very welcome to come and say hi to Preetty Boy and me. Cups of tea could probably be arranged too.
