The bass lines for our new CD are now recorded, in spite of various parts that I just couldn't get right we managed to find our way around the whole thing in relatively few hours. Rob, who runs the studio is a bass player himself so he is very aware of what makes a good bass line and when one is out of time or generally sounding poor- the kind of thing you can get away with in a live performance that will bug you forever if you record it.

It is late now, well past bed time, so I am heading off to bed.

A month from now I will be a married man.
