I've hardly been home the last few weeks, going from work to the ponies, playing in the school and then sorting out their evening feeds and ambling home around sunset ( currently about 9:00 ) to grab some dinner and go to bed.

Last Saturday was my cousin Anna's wedding, which was a great day in a wonderful setting. Her husband is a top guy and it was very happy. Also it featured a set from Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, a man dedicated to the cause of introducing the queen's english to hip-hop. I strongly recommend clicking on that link. It will make you smile. And you'll be able to follow every word.

Zorro ready for action. And by "action" I mean "more standing around".

Zorro on the lunge. [livejournal.com profile] sleepsy_mouse is on the other end of the line.

Small pony wonders why I'm peeping around the corner of the gate in the school.

[livejournal.com profile] sleepsy_mouse rides Zorro. That's probably the two most significant characters on this LJ together in one picture.

Is it wrong to be proud that this picture is entitled The Leg-end of Zorro.

As usual different sizes of these pictures on my Flickr.

Every news report from every quarter of the world seems pretty bad at the moment but there is love and ponies and it's high summer in old England.

Scotland is a bit of a wild bet, fantastic when it's dry but tends towards the drich ( to the point they even have the word "drich" to describe it ) and mizzly. That's rather fitting out on the moors, mind.

Down here we tend to have it warmer and it's really nice to have a bit of real summer after the year of constant rain. I thought Zorro kept his black colour throughout the year but he does get a bit bleached in the sunshine, it's just that there was so little sunshine last year he didn't get the chance.

I'm very much around, but while the opportunity to really concentrate on the horses exists I'm going to do everything I can to take it. Zorro is flourishing with all the attention and it's doing me a lot of good too.

That's great! I certainly don't blame you, while the weather is nice and you have the time, you should take every opportunity to work with him. Glad things are going so well.
