Helpful Chiro came out the other night to look at Zorro again. After seeing him move and seeing how he reacted to being ridden she checked him over and said that he seemed like he was probably fine. Her thinking is that the last adjustment probably freed up his back and actually gave him a bit more feeling, so it's not that there's anything painful about being ridden now, it's just that he can feel a lot more of what is going on and it probably feels a bit funny. She made a few adjustments but she said the main thing to do was just to ride through it. It does feel different to him, but it's not doing any harm and he just needs to get used to it.

So essentially a needless callout as far as he is concerned but I needed it in order to be sure that I'm not causing him pain by riding him. Now I know that I can confidently ride him through it and we'll be fine.

Not this weekend, though - it's the first Jackals event of the year so I'll be out playing (I now have a proper lizard face so I'll probably be looking good and have no peripheral vision) and when I come back I shall be older than when I left.
