The thing about working from home is that you don't have a real workplace community in the way you would in a regular office. This means that you can get away with things like not getting your hair cut for lengths of time that would be absolutely inappropriate if you had to deal with real people on a regular basis. I took the opportunity to rectify this yesterday:

One of these was at midday yesterday, the other at 2pm - see if you can spot the difference.

I had highlights done in July. And by now, they've grown out about two inches. Really out to do something about that....

:D I wear my hair long because it's too much trouble to get it cut and styled. Thank goodness for pony tails...

And husband grows his hair out until the ends start to curl, then he shaves it *all* off and starts growing it out again. The first time the kids saw him "bald" they cried. :D

I have envy of anyone whose hair does anything interesting. Mine just grows straight and will not be persuaded to behave otherwise.

Not by someone with my low level of tolerance for forcing hair into unnatural configurations anyways.

When it was cut right back short after I got tired of having long hair old ladies would cross the street to avoid me. I did look pretty mean.

my hair's the same...baby fine and it does one thing...grows straight. The End. I pretty much forfeited haircuts when I got Sage, although arguably it's really the Poodle's fault as she gets haircuts every 2 months and they're pretty expensive too. Luckily last month *I* got a haircut. It was an occasion!!! My fiance didn't notice at all, haha...but my friends sure did, just about went into shock...I guess some people will notice the missing six inches...

Did I get that right? :-)

I used to have it really long, but because it's so straight I had to either tie it back or look like Cousin It after five minutes. It would look great untied for a little while then it would suddenly look rubbish...

In the first one you look like you work in the countryside. In the second, an office.

I need to do that at some point, As it's starting to look a bit like I might be prince of Eternia...

Wow! Prince of eternia.

I always thought something kinda spikey on the top would suit you Tom. A few highlights to bring out the green in your eyes would be cool too.

I think both photos look pretty good actually you seem to suit long and short hair. I am really impressed how they represent how you see the world too, in the more blurred = no glasses.

Also is that your new bathroom? It looks nice.

Green highlights? That would be amazing!

It is our new bathroom. That will be properly documented when we have finished painting it...

Yes, in the second I'm momentarily wistful for the happy days of two hours previously.

You old folks just don't get it. All us young cats and beatniks these days we grow our hair as long as we want and we just don't care!
