Alright, very funny, ha ha, but the joke is over now. Would whoever is in charge of this stupid weather please sort us out with a brief respite from the constant rain? Ideally I'd like a full on Indian Summer to reward us for our persistence in the face of summertime adversity. I don't mind when it happens but the week commencing 17th of September needs to be dry and ideally sunny. Not changeable, blustery and rainy, as current forecasts have it. Long range weather forecasts (and indeed short ones) tend to be absolutely rubbish, so I have some hopes, but oh I'm getting tired of all this water from the sky.

Also, everyone at the yard appears to have got various versions of the same cold and one of it's major side-effects is a massive loss of tolerance, meaning that although we normally get on very well everyone is right on the edge of a huge fight the whole time. Even I'm not entirely my usual sanguine self although my irritation is currently largely directed at the sky and people in denial about Anthropogenic Climate Change. It's not even the fact that they disagree with it that bothers me, but the loud mouthed ignorance with which they insist on shouting their tiresome opinions in everyone's ears.

Irrational, sure. Entirely unrelated? I think not. ;-)

Anthropogenic huh? Is that a fancy way of saying 'caused by humans'? :-)
