glenatron: (Emo Zorro)
I'm quite a pleasant kind of tired - rode Zorro and Xefira yesterday and then had a great session with Zorro today where [livejournal.com profile] sleepsy_mouse gave us some very useful things to do and we got a whole lot of good results from it. It felt like we have set up some of the changes we need to make over the next few months and got a bunch of stuff to work on for a while now having fixed up a couple of ideas about what we need to do

As far as plans for the year ahaed go, I'm thinking I need to get back in the routine of lessons with Julian this spring. I'll call him tomorrow.

I've also booked tickets to go out to Silversand and ride with Steve for a couple of weeks in April, which will be my first visit to Australia - and indeed to Asia as I'll be stopping for a couple of days in Singapore on the way home. I'm quite looking forward to that...

I could use four more books for my 2011 reading challenge - ideally it would be good to have twelve different people's suggestions- my definite list currently is this:
  1. The City of Dreaming Books - Walter Moers
  2. In Great Waters - Kit Whitfield
  3. To Ride Hell's Chasm - Janny Wurts
  4. The Last Grain Race - Eric Newby
  5. A Spot of Bother - Mark Haddon
  6. Atonement - Ian McEwan
  7. Horse Heaven - Jane Smiley
  8. Off Armageddon Reef - David Webber

If your suggestion isn't on the list I probably read it already but would welcome something along similar lines that I haven't read...
