Long Time No Me
12 January 2005 23:57I haven't updated in some time and once again this is symptomatic of business rather than laziness on my part. We just played our second acoustic show this week - Andy broke a string during the last song but didn't storm off the stage in a fit of pique (do you hear me, Shanks?) and although we felt we were a little below par it apparently sounded better in the audience than it did on the stage. It's good when that happens. Better than the other way round, anyways. I actually wrote an "end of year one" summary for the Sequoia site which may have swallowed up some of my blogging inclinations too.
This Saturday we are playing at a party which is good because it is paid work but bad because we need to play an hour and a half set. We can do it, I think, but it will be a stretch. Anyone out London way might want to think about heading over to West One Four in Kensington on the 27th ( a week on Thursday, I think ) to see us play there. It's a really good venue and it was a lot of fun last time we played there- you can find directions and details from te band site, as linked above.
