We came home...
4 October 2004 21:43We have just had about the most excellent two weeks it is possible to have- a holiday featuring sunshine, adventure, mountains, bears, deserts, oceans, whales, dolphins, sea lions and otters preceded by a fantastic party with loads of friends from all different bits of my life and a bouncy castle. A whole world of brilliant.
Then we came back to rainy english October finding that my granny has broken her hip, our luggage was used as a football by Virgin's baggage handlers on the way home resulting in the loss of my swiss army knife and a memory card with the first 100 photos of the holiday and my PC has died in my absence with no intervention from anyone else. Back to reality with a bump.
When I have a little time and liberty (and maybe a repaired PC) I will pick out a few of the more interesting episodes from our travels for now I will just say a huge thank-you to anyone who helped make the wedding and reception so completely fantastic and just made Lou and I ever so happy. The only problem with a party like that is that you can't spend as much time with anyone as everyone there deserves, but hopefully now that we don't have a wedding to organise we will have a bit more free time to visit people and generally keep up with our friends.
