day five

We only rode one set of horses today -I was riding Gus, a slightly more experienced Apaloosa, who was actually more responsive than most fully trained horses I've ridden back home.

After that we embarked for San Angelo, to spend the weekend watching the NRCHA "World's Greatest Horseman" competition. Possibly also to go shopping...

At some point I may try to condense some of my thoughts from this week and post them, but no guarantee, it depends how the weekend goes.

hes a very smart looking horse, are you having fun? western is such a good style and so relaxed in its style

I'm enjoying it but it's tough and a lot of learning too. A huge amount to take in.
