Beyond two weeks
6 October 2008 21:47It was two weeks since I got myself kicked last Saturday. This is how my knee looks now:

I was actually kicked at the top of my thigh but the bruising has flowed down to my knee and below. I was a little anxious about how red that is because redness is one of the indicators of infection, but the really red patch was actually cold to the touch so I guess it's probably fine.
I can walk reasonably comfortably now, but my thigh muscles keep cramping painfully at random intervals. I didn't mind so much before because although my leg would cramp up ( always on the other side of the leg to where I was actually kicked ) it was at least predictable that it would happen when I put too much weight on the leg or straightened it in a certain way. Now it just seems to happen for no reason, including when I was driving earlier, leaving me unable to use the brake or accellerator. I will be working from home tomorrow...
