Last day at work

Last night was our work christmas do, that had been postponed due to our inability to get everyone in the same place at the same time so I suggested we recycle it as my leaving do. It was a good night out- the guys I worked with are a really great bunch of people, we listened to some fantastic folk music from the brilliant Alela Diane and later went to a cocktail bar and I only chundered slightly and only after we got back to the place we were staying which probably stopped the already irate taxi driver who took us home from becoming furious.

I now have two weeks of sweet sweet freedom which will doubtless fly by in seconds, especially as they include Badminton and a four day Tom Widdicombe clinic.

They begin, however, with my birthday present- a day of Skill At Arms, which is happening tomorrow. Very exciting. No doubt pictures of me in various states of fail and unplanned gravity/ground interfaces later in the weekend...

EDIT: A questionmark hangs over the day now, sleepsy_mouse is feeling very ill and it's looking a bit like I'm going to need to cancel.
