Learning to ride

We had another lesson with Julian today. For the first time my legs were correct without having to think about them. I was finding that when riding in trot with my eyes closed I was able to get that feeling as though I wasn't moving at all a bit more consistently. My trot work as a whole is endlessly better than it was even a couple of months ago.

I'm loving how much progress these lessons are facilitating.

eyes closed is a great strategy to help develop feel & fluidity.

It also occurs to me that the fact I can now trot with my eyes closed is a big change in itself.
